Refund Policy

We want you to be fully satisfied with DutyKaro. Here's everything you need to know about refunds and cancellations.

Subscription Refunds

Cancel within 7 days of purchase for a full refund on any subscription plan.

Processing Time

Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method.

Worker Pay Guarantee

Workers are guaranteed payment for all verified shifts, even if disputes arise.

1. Vendor Subscription Refunds

Vendors who subscribe to any DutyKaro plan (Starter, Growth, or Enterprise) are eligible for a full refund if they cancel within 7 calendar days of the initial purchase.

  • Eligibility: Refund requests must be made within 7 days of the subscription start date.
  • Partial Month: If you cancel after the 7-day window, the current billing period will be honoured but no further charges will be made.
  • Annual Plans: Annual subscriptions can be refunded on a pro-rata basis within the first 30 days.

2. Platform Fee Refunds

Platform fees charged per transaction are generally non-refundable, as they cover payment processing and platform maintenance costs. However, in cases of:

  • Duplicate Charges: If you are charged twice for the same transaction, we will refund the duplicate amount.
  • Service Failure: If DutyKaro experiences a service outage that prevents you from using paid features, a proportional credit will be applied.

3. Worker Payment Disputes

DutyKaro guarantees that workers receive payment for all verified and approved shifts:

  • If a vendor disputes a worker's attendance, our system verifies GPS, selfie, and QR data to resolve the dispute fairly.
  • Workers will not lose pay for verified shifts, even if a vendor initiates a dispute.
  • Unresolved disputes are escalated to our support team within 48 hours.

5. Non-Refundable Items

  • Verified and completed worker payouts (paid to worker accounts).
  • Background verification fees once the verification process has been initiated.
  • Custom integration or onboarding fees for Enterprise plans.
