Our Story
DutyKaro started with a simple problem: staffing agencies in India were running their entire operation on WhatsApp groups and Excel sheets. Workers didn't know when they'd get paid. Agencies didn't know who'd actually show up. Attendance was tracked on paper — and disputes were everywhere.
Sandesh Halagi, with 3 years of experience in the staffing industry, knew exactly what needed to be fixed. Rohan Karanje, a Computer Science graduate with a passion for building real products, turned that vision into a fully functional platform.
Together, they built DutyKaro — a platform where agencies can post jobs, track attendance with QR codes, process payouts, and manage their entire workforce from a single dashboard. And workers can find jobs, apply with one tap, and track their earnings in a built-in wallet.

Founder & CEO
Sandesh brings 3 years of hands-on experience working in the staffing agency industry. Having seen firsthand the challenges agencies face — from worker no-shows to delayed payments and manual attendance tracking — he founded DutyKaro to solve these pain points with technology. His deep understanding of the staffing business is the backbone of the platform's design.
Rohan Karanje
Founding Engineer
A 2025 Computer Science graduate who designed and built the entire DutyKaro platform from the ground up — frontend, backend, APIs, and deployment. From the worker app to the agency dashboard, every line of code was crafted by Rohan to deliver a production-grade, scalable platform that staffing agencies can rely on.
